Herb Shop re-opens after Nov 1st inspection by town officials!

What a beginning to November. Beautiful weather, but a little scary truth be told.
70 degrees on November 5th!
We had an inspection from Brewster Town officials on November 1st, 2022 and after a verbal O.K. from the building commissioner we decided to re-open the Herb Shop.
We have spent $259.96 on office supplies and $98.11 on supplies for repairs to the property. This is all from the money that everyone has donated on this GoFundMe and we appreciate all the support.
We have been able to do most of the paperwork on our own so far with advice from our legal counsel that we have on retainer provided to us by the Brown Realty trust since before the Co-op was officially established, so our expenses on legal fees have been minimal, mainly just filing fees. Once the Co-op officially attains management rights to the property we will assume any further legal retainer fees.
We also anticipate having to spend thousands of dollars on engineering fees and we still have some hurdles to overcome with the town regarding other parts of the properties that we are working towards coming into compliance, so please keep sharing this campaign and donate when you can.
We can work together to preserve the Jewel of Brewster.
